First Map Complete!

I have created my first ever map in Scorpion Engine. A first look at the starting zone and The Bazaar area.

I have created my first ever map in Scorpion Engine. I'm not the best in the world at making an area look realistic, so go easy on me =)

The plan for the first area in the first biome is to show the player the world and give them their first quest. Once you exit the starting zone—an unnamed town—you cross a small bridge and reach the first area of the Grasslands. This area has the working title "The Bazaar," and the plan is to have a vendor here, as well as some really easy enemies.

When the player explores the zone, they will see that it's surrounded by an impassable forest to the west, and a river/lake to the east and north, as well as an old mine to the northwest. There is a broken bridge to the northeast of the mine. The first quest is to enter the mine and follow the rail (solving puzzles and defeating enemies along the way) to the end, in order to ship out the materials needed to fix the bridge. But that is a topic for another post.

There will no doubt be many changes, and perhaps even remaking the area from scratch. But this is a first look at the very first thing I made for an Amiga game.
