It has been a few days since my last update, but we've made some good progress. Tedzogh has finished the layout of the first dungeon, The Crystal Cave. To avoid spoiling everything, I won't post it here. There is still a lot more work to do in the dungeon, so it's far from complete.
Tedzogh has also created the first item—bombs—and added them with animations and damage. We plan to have many uses for bombs in the game, but that's something you'll have to discover for yourself.
I, Dor, started working on the inventory system. I made the layout and added the current/max HP display. However, I overthought the code, so Tedzogh came to the rescue and simplified it significantly, making it much better than I could have on my own.
Tedzogh also created a new enemy, the Ruball. It follows the player, attacks with knockback, and has an animation when hit. He also added i-frames when the player is hit, so the player doesn't bounce around between enemies.
As you might have noticed, most of the heavy lifting has been done by Tedzogh. But I'm going to try to step it up a bit.
That's all for today. Dor, signing off.
